THE SAN VICENTE VALLEY CLUB’S 30th ANNUAL HOME AND WINERY TOUR took place on
May 12, 2012. At the San Vicente Resort, the Club presented an Arts and Crafts Fair, Opportunity Baskets, Bake Shop and High End Collectibles. At noon, participants enjoyed a no-host Luncheon and Fashion Show.
The beautiful home of Jim and Debbie Garcia, that featured Debbie’s appliqued quilts, was open in the morning.
The Tour included two beautiful Wineries open in the afternoon. Owner and winemaker Jennifer Jenkins opened the grounds and barrel room of the Pamo Valley Winery on Black Canyon Road, just for ticket holders. Participants enjoyed barrel wine tasting and snacks. The winery is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by magnificent mountains.
At the La Finquita Winery on Vista Ramona St., ticket holders visited the wine cave and tasted their wonderful wines. Mario Bergeron makes beautifully etched glass logos which were on display.
As a finale to the day, the Club had entertainment featuring singer Bob Anderson. Participants enjoyed complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine specials and cheered the winners of the Opportunity Basket drawing.
