The San Vicente Valley Club general meeting and luncheon will be on Wednesday, December 19th at the San Vicente Resort, 24157 San Vicente Road. Our speaker, Gina Seashore (That Music Lady) is a community music leader and teacher who has shared her love of making music with people for over 25 years.  Highlights include developing a Keyboard Kamp for Kids, teaching songwriting to seniors, accompanying and musically directing musical theatre productions, starting the Sunshine Club, a multi-age group that entertains at nursing homes and senior centers and, recently, leading musical tours.  Gina currently teaches piano, is music director at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in La Mesa, accompanies area school groups, elementary through community college, hosts hand drumming and percussion parties and is carillonist at Balboa Park.

In the spirit of the season, please bring an unwrapped gift appropriate for a newborn.

This month’s general meeting and luncheon will be on Wednesday, November 14th at the San Vicente Resort, 24157 San Vicente Road. Our speaker, Judy Beckett, is the founder and executive director of Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center in Ramona. Operation Saddle-up is the wounded warriors program; the center helps 250 men and women change their lives. Judy says this program is the big draw even though the center also helps disabled children and adults. The center is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals living with disabilities. Cornerstone is a unique, peaceful and serene environment.
